My name is Shevon Leck Jing Wen. I am a Year 3 Arts Business Management student studying at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. In my free time, I enjoy watching crime documentaries and singing a song or two to my pet betta fish, Theodore. I also love travelling the world, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people! What about you? |
Who am I?I am a Year Three Arts Business Management student currently residing in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I graduated from Peicai Secondary School in November 2016, where I was an active member of the school's Student Council, Interact Club, as well as Drama Club. Currently, I am part of HMS Society and SMART (Student Media Ace Reporting Team).
What is my personal mission?I want to be open to change, empathetic towards others and incorporate my values and way of life into my career. I want to inspire and motivate others to lend a hand in contributing to our society. By the end of the day, I would like to be able to look back at the things I have done and know that I have made a difference.
What are my values?I value respect, stability, support and achievement in work. On a personal level, I value financial stability, good health, friendship and integrity.
What are my aspirations?I aspire to learn as much as I can about the different sectors of the arts scene and most importantly, how to use my experience to forge an impact on Singaporean arts and culture.
What are my goals? In the next three years, I would like to lend a hand to volunteer for meaningful events and causes to build on my communications skills and people management skills. I will be using assignments such as Verve, the annual arts festival held by Arts Business Management students, to hone my event management skills.
In the long run, I would like to make an impact on the Singaporean arts scene through my work. I would also like to dedicate myself as a volunteer to a cause that shares the same values as I do so that I can do my part in contributing to the society. |
